Open the Trips tab and tap the + button → "New Trip". Enter the destination (Trip Intelligence will search the map as you type), pick start and end dates, and Trip Intelligence will suggest a typical duration for your destination.
Open the trip and tap the + button. Choose what to add. For flights, trains, and rentals, you can either create a brand-new one or attach an existing one already saved in Trip Intelligence.
The ✨ sparkles button at the top of a trip generates a day-by-day itinerary tailored to your destination, dates, and preferences (foodie, history, museums, etc.). You can add suggested attractions, trains, or car rentals to your trip with one tap. Premium subscribers get richer plans via Claude Sonnet.
After you add an AI suggestion, Trip Intelligence asks Apple Maps to resolve the exact location in the background. It usually takes 1-2 seconds. If a place is too obscure to be on Apple Maps, you can manually pick a location by tapping the attraction → "Search address or place name".
No. Trip Intelligence works fully offline without signing in — your data stays on your device. Sign in only if you want to back up to the cloud or sync across multiple devices.
Sign in with Apple lets you create an account using Face ID/Touch ID. You can choose "Hide My Email" — Apple gives Trip Intelligence a random forwarding address (looks like xxx@privaterelay.appleid.com) and your real email never leaves Apple. We recommend this option.
Sign in with the same account on each device. Trips, hotels, attractions, trains, car rentals, and flights all sync automatically via the cloud. Changes appear on other devices within a few seconds.
Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your sign-in record and all trip data from our servers. The action cannot be undone.
By category: trip start (3 days / 1 day / day-of), hotel check-in and check-out, train departures (2h and 30m before), car rental pickup and return, and flight status (boarding, takeoff, landing, delays). Toggle any category off in Settings → Notifications.
Settings → Live Activities and toggle it on. Your active flights will appear on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island automatically.
